GLĒO Wellness, or simply GLĒO, is a Direct Specialty Care Membership Practice offering personalized, virtual weight care program for one flat monthly fee. We focus on holistic, evidence-based solutions designed to help you achieve and maintain your health goals.

Is this a weight loss program?

GLĒO offers much more than a traditional weight loss program. Our weight care program is designed for long-term success by addressing your weight care goals, metabolic health, and lifestyle factors. Together, we create a plan uniquely tailored to you. Our aim is to guide you toward enhanced wellness and longevity with results that last a lifetime.

How much does the program cost?

At GLĒO, we believe in transparent pricing for our personalized weight care program. The journey begins with an initial consultation, priced at $299. Following this, you can seamlessly transition to a monthly membership for $199, giving you access to ongoing, comprehensive support tailored to your unique needs. Our pricing reflects the exceptional, one-on-one care we provide to empower you on your wellness journey.

Please Note: There is a $50 prior authorization fee per episode of medication authorization. This fee helps offset the administrative costs and time spent completing the necessary paperwork, ensuring a seamless process for you to access your medications.

Do you take insurance?

No, GLĒO is a cash-based practice. By working directly with patients, we provide personalized, thorough care without the constraints of insurance requirements.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Yes! Services may be eligible for FSA/HSA reimbursement. Please check with your FSA/HSA provider for eligibility requirements. Once confirmed, you may pay using your HSA or FSA card. This allows you to access our personalized weight care program while maximizing your benefits.

Can I get reimbursed by my insurance?

Some insurance plans with out-of-network benefits may reimburse a portion of the costs. We provide invoices for you to submit to your insurer, though reimbursement isn’t guaranteed and may depend on meeting your out-of-network deductible.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, we love rewarding our members for their commitment to better health! That’s why we offer special discounts designed to support your long-term journey to wellness. When you invest in six months of personalized care, you’ll receive a 5% discount on your membership, and with a 12-month commitment, you’ll enjoy 1-month free membership while creating sustainable, lasting results.

Who is the clinician at GLĒO?

Our weight health clinician, Von Vitto, is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a certified adult-gerontology nurse practitioner and nutrition coach, with a Certificate of Advanced Obesity Medicine Education from the Obesity Medicine Association. Von is also an active member of OMA and brings a personalized, compassionate approach to each patient’s wellness journey. Learn more about Von here.

Do I need a referral from my doctor to join GLĒO?

No referral is needed. You can join GLĒO directly and begin your personalized weight care journey.

Does GLĒO replace my primary care clinician?

No, GLĒO does not provide primary care services. Instead, we work alongside your primary care clinician or other specialists to deliver comprehensive weight care. With your permission, we’re happy to collaborate and share updates on your progress to ensure continuity of care.

Is my medical information protected?

Yes. At GLĒO, your privacy and security are our top priorities. We strictly adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure your personal and health information remains secure and confidential.

Do you require lab work?

Yes, when necessary, we may order evidence-based diagnostic tests to better understand your specific health needs. Labs can be completed at any lab provider of your choice and are typically billed through your insurance.

Please Note: The cost of diagnostic tests are not included in the initial consultation or membership fee.

Are medications covered in my membership?

No, medications are not included in your membership fee. Based on your health history, we can prescribe FDA-approved medications that will be sent to your preferred pharmacy. Medication coverage depends on your insurance plan, and we cannot alter what your plan will cover. For those without coverage, we can prescribe low-cost generic medications when appropriate.

Please Note: Our clinician does not prescribe compounded medications. Additionally, there is a $50 prior authorization fee per episode of medication authorization. How do I access the Education and Community Support Platform as well as my medical records?

Accessing your support and resources is easy and seamless. During your initial consultation, your clinician will provide you with the QR Code to access the Education and Community Support Platform. To review your medical records, click the GLĒO Hub button in the menu and simply press the Member Portal button for secure access to your visit history and important documents at GLĒO Wellness.
